Hiking The Duncan Ridge Trail

Camelback Mountain is probably the most prominent geological feature that rears its head against the sky in northeast Phoenix and you'll find a number of the valley's most famous resorts laid out around its base. The track then comes to an intersection with the ‘Prince Henry Cliff Walk' just before the footbridge. The first place most visitors to the Blue Mountains visit is Echo Point to see the Three Sisters and get that iconic Blue Mountains shot. There's plenty of space for you to relax while soaking in the views or enjoying a snack before heading out on one of the many walks available.

This walking track brings tourists up-close with the most fascinating waterfalls in the Blue Mountains. From Jamison Lookout at the picnic area, follow the track to Wentworth Falls Lookout, where you'll have beautiful open views across the Blue Mountains. This easy bushwalk along the famous Prince Henry Cliff Walk is a great way for casual walkers to experience the beauty of the Blue Mountains bushland.

The gateway to the Blue Mountains are the towns of Katoomba and Leura. Most lookouts along the way are only a short walk to the road, spotty mobile reception, plenty of facilities at the major stops, including Scenic World, Echo Point Visitors Centre, Leura Falls, etc.

Originally built by the local Katoomba community, the Federal Pass follows the base of the cliffs between Leura and Ask A Traveller Ruined Castle, passing iconic highlights such as the Three Sisters, Katoomba Falls and the Golden Stairs. Peter knew when the large tour buses and crowds would arrive at the scenic areas like The Three Sisters, Scenic World, and the Blue Mountains, and made sure we had the best views before the crowds arrived.

The Dardanelles Pass was opened around the same time as the Giant Stairway, built to link the stairway to the other walking tracks in the forest. It's all connected by walking tracks. At this point across the Conasauga River Valley, it gives you a viewing area overlooking the spectacular beauty of the waterfalls and the wildlife inhabiting the ecosystem.

Take your pick from gentle strolls which trace the escarpment to challenging hikes which capture some of the finest views on offer. Imagine accommodations at a beautiful 1600 acre tea plantation in English style bungalows with beautiful views of the Kanchenjunga Mountain Range, the third highest peak in the world.
